Breastfeeding rates in the UK are some of the worst in the world, with only 1% still breastfeeding at 6 months old.* Attitudes to breastfeeding in public are partly to blame for this problem, with 63% of mothers surveyed admitting to feeling too uncomfortable to breastfeed in front of strangers.*
Create an app that encourages women to breastfeed in public and helps to create a more supportive environment for them to do this.

Solution
The ‘Bubo’ app allows mums (parents) to easily find breastfeeding-postive venues (cafes, restaurants, etc) that not only offer a supportive environment, but also incentives and discounts for nursing mums and the ability to book via the app. They can also locate baby-changing facilities, connect with other breastfeeding parents, shop for breastfeeding/baby products and get parent-related advice.Businesses benefit from signing up to become a “Bubo Business” by building brand awareness, customer loyalty, and bookings through the app’s booking functionailty. Not to mention, building a caring brand association.
