DIGITAL ADVERTISING DESIGN
"Drink Me" multi-platform campaign for Alice in Wonderland exhibition, V&A Museum
Challenge
This student brief was to create adverts for a digital campaign to promote the Alice in Wonderland exhibition at the V&A Museum in London. The museum wants it to attract younger visitors who may otherwise feel the exhibition is not relevant to them, or who may not be familiar with the story. It should include provided copy, as well as a quote or elements from the original book.
Solution
I created a campaign that plays on the very recognisable global branding of Coca-Cola. The aim is for it to be a 'double take' kind of ad, whereby the viewer's interest is grabbed upon realising it is not what it seems. It is playful, bold and enticing.

"Soggy Bottoms" Facebook ad for Virgin Holidays.

Challenge
This self-initiated brief was to create a digital ad for a social media platform targeted at British holiday-makers, that was humorous, memorable and and drive sales during the autumn and winter.

Facebook Ad
Solution
The "Soggy Bottoms" ad employs British humour and the familiarity of the wet trouser bottoms during the notoriously wet British weather. It suggests the story of someone who has swapped their unpleasant experience in the UK with the contrasting sunny paradise on offer in the second image.
